Deal 3 red cards and 1 black card to each player.
Before the game begins, each player places a single card face-down in front of them. On their turn, each player may choose to play another card, bid, or pass.
If a player chooses to play another card, they do so face-down on the same existing pile, and play continues to the next player.
If a player chooses to bid, they must bid a number less than or equal to the total number of cards face-down on the table. Subsequent players may either increase the bid, or pass. If a player passes, they cannot bid in a later turn.
Once a player wins the bid, they must now flip over that number of cards without flipping a black card. The bidder must flip all of their own cards first before choosing cards from another player's pile.
If the bidder is successful, they gain a point. If the bidder flipped a black card from their own pile, they choose a card at random from their hand to be discarded face-down. If the bidder flipped a black card from another player's pile, that player chooses a card at random to discard from the bidder's hand.
If a player no longer has any cards remaining, they are out of the game.
The game ends when any player gains 2 points, or if all other players are out.
Use additional decks for more than 8 players.
