Setup

Teams are formed by players seated opposite each other. Remove 2 3 4 from the deck. Deal 5 cards to each player.

Gameplay

With only half the cards dealt, any player, starting with the player left of the dealer, may bid to make all 5 tricks. In that case, the bidder begins play, and their team attempts to make all 5 tricks.

Otherwise, the remaining cards are dealt. The player to the left of the dealer is forced to bid that their team will make 6 tricks. Bidding continues clockwise; any player can bid to make 7 or more tricks.

Once bidding completes, the bid winner declares the trump suit, and begins play. Once all cards have been played, teams count how many tricks they made.

If the team opposite the dealer made their bid, the dealer rotates. Otherwise, the dealer remains the same.

Scoring

If any team bid for 5 tricks, and made 5 tricks, they win 25 points. If they did not make 5 tricks, the opposing team makes 50 points. If all cards are dealt, and the the bidding team makes points equal to their bid, they get points equal to their bid. If the bidding team does not make sufficient tricks, the opposing team gets points equal to 2x the bid.
