Split into teams of 2. With an odd number of players, one team may have 3. Each team must secretly come up with a subtle signal they can make while playing. Deal 4 cards to each player, then place the deck to the right of the dealer.
The objective is to have 4 cards of the same number in your hand (such as Q
♥ Q
♦ Q
♠ Q
♣ ). The dealer takes one card at a time from the deck, then discards one card from their hand in a pile to their left. The next player draws from this pile.
Once a player has a quartet, they must begin making their predetermined signal. When the other player on their team notices the signal, they must call out "peanut butter", and their team wins. If any other players notice the signal, they can declare "catch", and if correct, their team wins.
